Professor of Linguistics at Universidade Federal de Sergipe [Federal University of Sergipe]. He is experienced at Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, with major in studies on Sociohistorical Linguistics, Textual criticism and learning materials.

Professor from UFAL – Campus do Sertão. She experienced at Linguistics, working with description, analysis and documentation of Brazilian indigenous languages, specifically Yaathe (Fulni-ô), which is the language of her original ethnicity.

CHAPTER I

Corporate name, Head office, Purposes and Duration

Art. 1 – A nonprofit association is incorporated under the corporate name Associação Brasileira de Linguística – ABRALIN and it will be ruled by this statute and by the applicable legislation. The association is headquartered at Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem [Language Studies Institute]Unicamp, at Rua Sérgio Buarque de Holanda, 571, 13083-859 Campinas-SP. ABRALIN aims to join Linguistics professionals to promote, develop and publish theoretical and applied Linguistics studies in Brazil among those who are interested in this field.

Sole paragraph: The corporation has an indefinite term and an unlimited quantity of associates. The association is committed to promote equality, diversity and inclusion, by respecting the whole spectrum of human diversity as to the race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, socioeconomic status, disability, nationality, sexual preference and beliefs.

Art. 2 – In order to achieve its goals, the Association will promote scientific meetings, courses and publications, provide scholarships and cooperate with public and private entities in education programs addressing linguistic issues.
